Pop Punk is Still Alive

  In 2015, Emo Night Brooklyn started touring around The United States with DJ’s playing music from 90’s rock to new songs that you hear on the radio. Each show will give you an option to request your own music from any of the rock genres. They have grown so strong that they have now been touring with large bands and being the DJ in between sets to open themselves up to more people that may not know about them.   We Came As Romans is a local Detroit based metal band since 2005. This band went from playing in the garage bands to selling out shows across the world. They have performed at many festivals such as Vans Warped Tour, Slam Dunk, Rockville, Louder Than Life and so many more! While Covid-19 had a large impact on everyone's lives, in April of 2021 they performed on The Barricade live stream. At that time, there were still no concerts due to the pandemic, but they were still able to perform for their fans in a different way. Prior to We Came as Romans, they were known as a band called “The Emergency” but a year after the band was formed, they chose a different name. The band members are vocalist Dave Stephens, guitarist Lou Cotton, guitarist Joshua Moore, basses Andy Glass and drummer David Puckett.
